Do I need an account?

No. Play the bot straight away. To play friends you can join as a guest from their link, and add an email later to keep your games.

Is it like other word-tile games?

It's an original game: a ripple-shaped board, glossy pebble tiles, its own tile values, and twists like Word of the Day and Comeback Star that keep games close.

Which words count?

Over 170,000 English words, in American and British spelling (color and colour both work), plus modern ones like selfie and emoji. Tap any word on the board to see what it means.

Can we talk while we play?

Yes. Every game with friends has its own chat, with replies and quick reactions. In Kids Mode it’s friendly ready-made phrases only.

Can kids play?

Yes. Kids Mode uses simpler words, keeps rude words out, keeps game chat to friendly ready-made phrases, turns off ads, and hides plans and the shop.

What do plans add?

More players per game, as many games as you like, your own Groups and Cups, Word Coach and full stats. They never change how scoring works.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, in any modern browser. You can also add Tilemates to your home screen like an app.
